The Leura Gardens Festival is the big event of the Blue Mountains from the 2^nd -10^th October culminating with the Leura Village Fair on the last weekend. Ten stunning Gardens on display (including "Everglades" and "The Braes") for $20; serviced by an on and off trolley bus and an army of 400 volunteers to ensure your safety and enjoyment.  Proceeds are for the Blue Mountains District Anzac Memorial Hospital.

Late spring is one of the best times to visit the Blue Mountains. To enhance this wonderful time, the National Trust property, Everglades will be holding its inaugural, Cool Climate Garden Lecture Series over the weekend of the 13^th and 14^th November. Learn from six diverse speakers including Sandra Ross from The Garden Clinic.

Each day will consist of 3 speakers and then after a light lunch we will visit three impressive gardens.

The gardens include:

• The beautiful Paul Sorensen garden - Everglades,
• Rosebriar, which is a plant collectors garden and has to be seen to be believed,
• Clover Hill which is cleverly built on a slope and will have some rare plants for sale,
• Blue Mountains Organic Community garden which is a permaculture food forest
• Arthur Lathouris’s unique garden which compliments his mud brick home
• Barry Jarrott’s unashamedly romantic garden which has been developed over the past 8 years
